Smit Constructie has been various supplying systems for germinating tulips since 1998. Smit Constructie supplies containers and container systems and is the exclusive supplier of the Easy Carrier system.

The arrival of tulip germination with running and/or ebb and flow water systems has brought many new developments concerning the manner of germination and the machines and installations associated with this.

Easy Carrier

The Easy Carrier is the system for water germination. Easy Carrier is exclusive to Smit Constructie. The Easy Carrier is an extremely flexible, hard-wearing and efficient greenhouse system because it uses castor wheels. Furthermore, the carriers can be perfectly stacked.

The Easy Carrier is extended with a tube system so stacking can continue in the refrigeration cell. The carriers roll into the greenhouse using the frames over the tube systems. This means that it can be partly or fully automated.

Many companies are happily using the Easy Carrier and every year new companies start using this system.

Container systems

Smit Constructie supplies containers of various types and dimensions. These can also be specially supplied to match your preferred size and requirements.

The transport feature can be manual, semi or fully automatic.

Container rack system and container lift

People are choosing ever more to also use the containers in the cell for running water and/or ebb and flow water germination. Smit Constructie has developed container racks and container lifts for this purpose.

The racks can be up to 10 m in height, are easy to access and can easily be rolled in and out using the lift. The movable platform means that the operator has a good view of the containers that are entering and leaving.

These are available in various sizes.
