Topping machines

In addition to machines for germination, since 2007 Smit Constructie has also been making machines for flower bulb cultivation, including topping machines and selection wagons.

Smit Constructie provides various types of topping machines, with two and four wheel drive. The topping machines have large wheels and the large topping roller comes in various versions.

There are four options. The topping machines are extremely energy efficient.

Topping machines

The topping machine has four-wheel drive and wheels with a Ø1 metre diameter with a tractor profile so that it can easily be stopped during extreme weather conditions.

The large roller has a diameter of Ø1 metre which means that it has a very high topping capacity/driving speed. Because of its high capacity, the discharge jack does not have any problem transporting the heads in the paths.
